GREEN BUILDING is a pair of buildings that were put into operation in January 2017 and 2021 as the highest ten- and eleven-story landmarks of the AREAL SLATINA. They continue the tradition of engineering in Slatina, where the first factories were built as early as 1929. They later served as the premises for the Sigma metallurgical factory. The urban planning study was created by Brno architect Petr Pelčák, who transformed this brownfield site into an energy-efficient concept. The building is shaped like the letter "H," comprising both parking and administrative capacities. The entrance hall with a reception and five lifts is situated in the connecting neck of the "H".

The building is equipped with triple-glazed windows with sun protection to prevent heat gain, along with reinforced facade insulation made from mineral wool. The absence of ceiling tiles allows for heat and cold accumulation in the concrete structure, maintaining a stable and comfortable indoor climate. The optimal temperature and controlled ventilation, including automatic CO2level monitoring, are ensured by ceiling cooling beams. Additionally, the facade features a vented wing.

The offices are ideal for anyone who needs good access to the highway, while also providing a high standard of office spaces in an urban style. The centre was created to complement the Brno industrial zone of Černovice terraces with additional technical and administrative spaces.
